GPO Poll: ND Steadily Above 30%, PASOK Second, Small Drop for Tsipras and Karystianou

Recent results from a GPO survey show a stable lead for the ruling party and a positive response to proposals for Constitutional Revision

The latest GPO poll for the website iefimerida.gr shows a steady lead for New Democracy (ND), with the political landscape largely unchanged but some interesting shifts in other positions.

According to GPO’s survey, New Democracy records 30.1%, maintaining first place. PASOK follows with 13.2%, while Course of Freedom comes third with 11.1%. Greek Solution reaches 10.9%, the Communist Party (KKE) 9.2%, and SYRIZA 5.6%.

Below the 3% threshold are MeRA25 (2.5%), Voice of Reason (2.3%), Niki (2.2%), New Left (2.2%), and Democracy Movement (2.1%). “Other Party” totals 8.6%.

Voting Intention

In terms of voting intention, ND records 24.9%, with PASOK at 10.9%. Course of Freedom reaches 9.2% and Greek Solution 9%, followed by KKE at 7.6% and SYRIZA at 4.6%. Undecided voters are at 16%, while “Other Party” stands at 7.1%.

Regarding the potential support for new political formations, the probability of voting for a potential party of Alexis Tsipras is 17.3%, while for Maria Karystianou it is 19.2%, showing a slight decline compared to the previous month. The corresponding support for Antonis Samaras remains low at 5.8%.

It is noted that these percentages reflect potential electoral influence, not actual voting intention.

Citizens’ Views on Constitutional Revision

Finally, proposals for Constitutional Revision receive positive responses: 71.4% support amending Article 86, 69.1% support giving the supreme courts the power to decide on their leadership, 64.6% support a six-year term for the President of the Republic, and 62.4% support a general evaluation of public servants.
