Modernising infrastructure and equipment in 41 schools in Thrace, Epirus, and Kalymnos by 2025

The organisation created infrastructure, STEM classrooms, libraries and workshops in schools in border areas - Last year, the organisation provided 189,839 meals to 935 children

Focused actions of nationwide scope were carried out for 2025 by Together for Children, which in 2026 will complete 30 years of continuous presence.

The organisation aims to support children and young people across the country, helping to reduce inequalities and barriers affecting their present and future.

In 2025, it worked with 187 agencies, 131 schools and 196 companies and foundations, supporting thousands of children and families in key action: Fighting Poverty through support to vulnerable families and child protection agencies; Health & Mental Health through strengthening health facilities and Line 11525 and our counseling center; and Education through modernization of school infrastructure in acritical and remote areas and implementation of innovative educational programs.

The work of Together for Children 2025 in numbers

Supporting vulnerable children & families
– Supporting 115 families with 389 members, including 242 children
– Easter dinner for 22 vulnerable families
– 3,841 Christmas and 1,623 Easter gifts to children
– 356 invitations to cultural and sporting events
– 26 medical and diagnostic examinations for children from vulnerable families
– 115 tons of essentials worth €732,856 to 102 organisations throughout Greece
– 189,839 meals to 935 children of child protection agencies
– Information on dental care to 543 children from 12 child protection agencies
– 4 modern libraries in child protection institutions with 234 children
– € 502,671 support to members of the “Together for Children” association

Health & Mental Health
– 15 medical machines & equipment in 2 Hospitals & 2 Health Units in Xanthi and Epirus
– Psychological support to 2,098 beneficiaries
– 17,080 minutes of telephone counselling
– 122 psychoeducational seminars to 5,354 adolescents, parents and teachers throughout Greece
– 82 face-to-face group and individual sessions, lasting 68 hours

Training
Modernization of 41 schools in Thrace, Epirus and Kalymnos with 4,138 students and 515 teachers, offering 9,717 pieces of logistical equipment and educational material

– “STEM & Soft Skills”: Innovative educational program in cooperation with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), with 43 primary and secondary school students from 25 public schools in Attica
– Technology hub at the General Lyceum of Oinofyton in collaboration with the National Academy of Sciences
