Close cooperation with the United States and Egypt to halt the humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip and end the ongoing war, Qatar says it has developed Qatar. The country’s ambassador to the United Nations, Aliya Ahmed Saeif Al-Thani, said talks on the current proposal are ongoing intensively.

“We are very determined to find a way out of this horrible situation in Gaza,” the diplomat stressed, speaking to reporters at the UN. She also stressed that the aim is to bring an immediate end to hostilities and provide substantial humanitarian assistance to the population.

Qatar has played a key role as a mediator since the beginning of the conflict, hosting contentious negotiations and maintaining channels of communication with Hamas. Doha is now considered one of the key diplomatic hubs for managing the crisis, with the aim of bridging the differences and reaching a ceasefire agreement.
