Greek List – Significant Gathering of Greek Professionals in London

Ambassador and Secretary General for Greeks Abroad honored the event with their presence

With outstanding success, the business event of Greeklist.co.uk took place in London, at Opso restaurant in Marylebone, gathering over 45 distinguished Greek professionals and entrepreneurs from across the United Kingdom.

The event was honored by the presence of:
– The Ambassador of Greece to the United Kingdom, Mr. Ioannis Tsaousis.
– The Secretary General for Greeks Abroad, Ms. Maira Myrogianni.

During the event, Ms. Myrogianni shared with the guests:
“I have traveled to dozens of Greek communities worldwide — but something this organized, with such scope, cohesion, and professionalism, I have never encountered before.”

What is Greeklist

Greeklist.co.uk is the largest platform connecting Greek businesses and professionals in the United Kingdom.

It was founded by Avgoustinos Galiasos, who is also the creator of the largest Facebook group for Greeks abroad — Greeks in London, with 73,000 members.

Today, the Greeklist team consists of 7 permanent members specializing in marketing, technology, and communications:
– Maria Chatziaslani – Head of operations and internal organization of the team.
– Areti Triantafyllou – Head of sales, onboarding, and professional relations.
– Panagiota Koteli Chatzinikolaou – Head of communications and customer support.
– Anda Mourati – Lead designer & responsible for Greeklist’s visual content.
– Maria Keremidou – Head of strategic promotion, advertising content, and digital campaigns.

As of today:
– Connects over 800 businesses & professionals.
– Has an audience of more than 120,000 Greeks across all channels.
– Holds a database of 40,000+ emails.
– Is ranked #1 on Google searches for dozens of Greek professional categories.

Greeklist offers:
– Social media & digital marketing.
– Website development.
– Branding, content, advertising.
– Networking, in-person exposure & events.

Who participated

The event included professionals from many different sectors, among them:
– Doctors, dentists, clinics & aestheticians.
– Lawyers, accounting firms & tax consultants.
– Food service entrepreneurs: restaurants, cafes, catering.

– Startups, media & creative professions.

Next Steps

Avgoustinos Galiasos announced:

The creation of a closed community of Greeklist partners with strategic support and exclusive offers for them.
The launch of the new version of the website in the coming weeks, featuring booking, online payments, and an AI chatbot.
The organization of a series of themed events and presentations to promote Greek entrepreneurship in the UK.
