SYRIZA at 36,36% – Leads over ND by 8,56% – Seven parties in parliament

Victory is close at hand for the Leftist party, but will it be a parliamentary majority?

Newsroom January 25 09:40

With 96.33% of the country’s votes  accounted for, SYRIZA gathers 36.36%.

New Democracy gathers 27.80%, while Golden Dawn gathers 6.29% to grasp third place. To Potami party gathers 6.06% becoming the fourth party.

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) gathers 5.49% with PASOK at 4.66%. ANEL (Independent Greeks) gather 4.73%, while George Papandreou’s “KIDISO” (To Kinima) party gathers 2.44% and Vasilis Levendis’ party has raised 1.79%. The latter two parties are probably going to not be included in Parliament.

Estimates of Singular Logic, a polling company, show that Parliament will be comprised of seven political parties.

First evidence shows that SYRIZA gains 150 parliamentary seats but the statistical error is such that it could be 149 or 151! The head of Singular Logic stated that it is quite possible that all votes must be counted until a final result is given with greater certainty.

Below are the official, live results from the Ministry of Interior and Singular Logic
