An alarm was raised on Friday night (21/2) at the Messinia Police Directorate after two detainees managed to escape from the holding cells of the Kalamata Police Department.

According to reports, the escapees are Roma individuals involved in burglaries. The suspects allegedly forced open a window and managed to get away.

The Hellenic Police‘s investigation to locate and arrest them is currently underway.
