According to forecast data from meteo.gr / National Observatory of Athens, temperatures across Greece will see a further significant drop on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. The cold air masses are expected to persist over the country for at least one week.

Below, the temperature variation charts until February 11 show expected conditions at approximately 1,500 meters altitude over Athens and Thessaloniki. Athens is used as a reference point for eastern and southern Greece, while Thessaloniki represents central and northern regions.

Expected temperatures are 6-7°C below seasonal norms.

  • Temperature: 6°C to 14-15°C (Interior of Epirus 0°C to 12°C).

Eastern Sterea, Euboea, Eastern Peloponnese

  • Weather: Cloudy with localized showers.
  • Winds: North-northeast 4-6 Beaufort, up to 8 Beaufort in the east.
  • Temperature: 3°C to 12°C.

Cyclades, Crete

  • Weather: Showers, possible snow in mountainous areas.
  • Winds: North 7-8 Beaufort.
  • Temperature: 10°C to 13°C.

Eastern Aegean Islands, Dodecanese

  • Weather: Showers, locally strong winds.
  • Winds: North 7-8 Beaufort, up to 9 Beaufort in the south.

Thessaly

  • Weather: Cloudy, light showers in Sporades.
