Prespes: festivities cancelled due to the fatal car accident

Tragedy with 16 and 18 year olds dead in Prespes

Newsroom December 31 01:53

After the fatal car accident in Lemos, in the municipality of Prespes, which resulted in two young children, 18 and 16 years old, and a 17-year-old boy who was hospitalized with serious injuries at the Papanikolaou Hospital in Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Prespes, in mourning, decided to cancel all festive events.

“Unfortunately, the last day of the year is dark in Prespa. We lost two young children and one more is fighting for his life and I wish from the bottom of my heart that he will make it and return home,” said the mayor of Prespa, George Stergios, expressing his support to the parents of the two unfortunate young people.
