New Year’s Day: How public transport will operate

Changes in schedules and frequency of routes for fixed-track public transport – How travel will be conducted

Public transport routes will be modified on New Year’s Day, with changes both in operating hours and the frequency of services.

Modifications to Fixed-Track Public Transport Routes

Metro Line 1 (ISAP)

The special schedule for the ISAP line is expected to be as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 31: Every 10.5 minutes. Last routes at 23:00.
  • Wednesday, January 1: Every 10.5 minutes.
  • Thursday, January 2: Every 7.5 minutes until 22:30, every 11.5–12.5 minutes thereafter.
  • Friday, January 3: Every 6 minutes between 7:00–10:00 and 15:00–18:00, every 7.5 minutes before 7:00, between 10:00–15:00, and 18:00–22:30, every 11.5–12.5 minutes later.
  • Monday, January 6: Sunday schedule.

Note: Before 5:30 and after 23:30, routes will operate every 15 minutes.

Metro Line 2

The schedule for Metro Line 2 will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 31: Every 7.5 minutes between 13:00–21:00, every 8.5–9.5 minutes between 12:00–13:00 and 21:00–22:00, every 10.5 minutes between 9:00–12:00 and after 22:00, every 12.5 minutes until 9:00. Last routes at 23:00.
  • Wednesday, January 1: Every 11 minutes between 9:30–22:00, every 13 minutes during other hours.
  • Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3: Every 6.5 minutes between 7:00–11:00, every 7 minutes between 14:00–19:00, every 7.5 minutes between 6:00–7:00 and 19:00–21:00, every 8.5 minutes between 11:00–14:00, every 9.5–11 minutes during other hours.
  • Monday, January 6: Sunday schedule.

Note: Route frequencies are rounded. Every Friday night, routes operate every 25 minutes after midnight.

Metro Line 3

The schedule for Metro Line 3 will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 31: Every 7–8 minutes after 12:30, every 8.5–10 minutes before 12:30. Last routes at 23:00.
  • Wednesday, January 1: Every 10 minutes between 8:00–22:00, every 11.5 minutes during other hours.
  • Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3: Every 5.5 minutes between 7:00–11:00, every 6.5 minutes between 15:00–19:00, every 7–8 minutes during other hours between 6:00–22:00, every 8.5–9.5 minutes after 22:00.
  • Monday, January 6: Sunday schedule.

Note: Route frequencies are rounded. Airport routes will run every 36 minutes daily. Every Friday night, routes operate every 15 minutes after midnight.

The tram schedule will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 31: Every 12 minutes until 22:00, every 15 minutes after 22:00. Last routes at 23:00.
  • Wednesday, January 1: Every 15 minutes.
  • Thursday, January 2, and Friday, January 3: Every 12 minutes until 22:00, every 15 minutes after 22:00.
  • Monday, January 6: Sunday schedule.

Note: Every Friday night, tram routes operate every 25 minutes after midnight.
