Musk vs. Reuters: “They took $300 million to investigate me”

Elon Musk reposted evidence that the company that owns the news agency has received significant amounts in government contracts during Biden's presidency

Newsroom December 17 09:50

Elon Musk has been targeting the legacy media in recent weeks, particularly after the U.S. elections, with Reuters being his latest focus.

The head of Tesla, SpaceX, and the social network X shared a post by Mike Benz, head of the Foundation for Freedom Online, who reveals that the news agency received substantial sums from the US government.

In his post, Benz states that during the four years of Biden’s presidency, government departments and independent agencies awarded Thomson Reuters, the company that owns the news agency, government contracts exceeding $300 million.

Also, Benz adds, 11 different government agencies have targeted Elon Musk’s companies. These are the same agencies that paid millions to Reuters.
