Dendias to visit Qatar on Tuesday

An official visit to Qatar will be made tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17, by the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias.

It was announced that as part of his visit to Doha, the Minister of National Defence will have a private meeting with his counterpart and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.

This will be followed by interpreted talks between the two delegations. During his stay there, Dendias is expected to be received by the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.

The meetings will examine issues related to the strengthening of bilateral defence cooperation, as well as developments in regional and international issues in the field of security and defence.

In addition, Mr. Dendias will visit the Qatari state-owned defense industry company Barzan Holdings.
