Mitsotakis to visit Baku for UN Climate Conference – Meeting with Aliyev

The Greek Prime Minister will participate in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take part in the proceedings of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change (COP29) tomorrow, Wednesday 12 November, in Baku, Azerbaijan.

At 7:30 GMT, the Prime Minister will be interviewed on Bloomberg television.

Then, Kyriakos Mitsotakis will inaugurate the Greek pavilion at COP29 and address the plenary session of the conference’s high-level meeting.

At 9:15 the Prime Minister will participate in the parallel event “Vertical Corridor: Europe’s New Energy Lifeline” and at midnight in the parallel event “Our Ocean, Our Action”, both of which will be hosted at the Greek pavilion.

At 14:00 Kyriakos Mitsotakis will take part in the parallel UN high-level event on sending early warnings and dealing with very high temperatures.

At 15:20 the Prime Minister will meet with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
