Two minors are in police custody since yesterday after being found in possession of drugs.

According to information from Cretapost, the incident occurred during the night in Chania, when officers from the DIAS motorcycle police unit stopped two minors (aged 16 and 17) riding a motorbike for a routine check.

The officers discovered that the driver did not have a license, and the minors were found to have 44.2 grams of cannabis in their pockets.

Both minors were arrested, and their parents were also taken into custody on charges of neglecting the supervision of minors.

The investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Division of the Chania Security Directorate.
