The Hollywood star has been in Greece recently for the filming of his new movie, titled The Carpenter’s Son.

After visiting Athens, the actor made his way to Piraeus, where fans spotted him despite his changed appearance, and they took photos with him. These snapshots were also posted on the restaurant’s official Instagram account.

Cage had taken steps to somewhat disguise his identity and maintain a low profile. He appeared wearing a colorful shirt, a white hat, and prescription glasses. Additionally, he has grown his hair long, and his beard is now white.

The restaurant owner spoke on the show “Live You” and mentioned: “We sent him a menu. He had other options as we know. He liked the food, he’s a fan of Greek cuisine, and he came here. He loves Piraeus a lot.”

He continued: “He was ecstatic. I greeted him, and he was extremely polite. That’s rare these days. And the man is a Hollywood star. He ate handmade tzatziki, dolmadakia, a picanha steak, fries, and meatballs, which he liked.”

The owner also mentioned that the actor was accompanied by his children and his wife, Riko Shibata. “His security was with him, so you couldn’t easily approach him, which is understandable. Everyone suspected that something was going on, but they didn’t recognize him,” the restaurant owner said.

Nicolas Cage will star in a new film that focuses on the childhood of Jesus. Part of the movie was filmed in Megara.
