Until he wakes up, until he gets up, he will be under the supervision of the doctors, she added

Newsroom September 4 08:09

Dimitris Kokotas has been in a coma for five months, following his health ordeal in March.

Speaking on the show ‘Live News,’ the singer’s wife talked about his health condition, explaining that it remains stable.

Dimitris Kokotas has long been transferred to a High Dependency Unit from the Intensive Care Unit, where he was previously, and he appears to be responding to some stimuli.

His wife stated: “Nothing has changed; there is a very slight improvement, given that he has been moved out of the ICU and is now in the High Dependency Unit. He still has no contact with his surroundings, and there has been no significant change in Dimitris’s movements. Until he wakes up, until he gets up, he will be under the supervision of the doctors.”

She then added: “We are waiting because there are still some tests that need to be done. I have been informed that they will be carried out within the month, but I am waiting and hoping that he will make it.”

The singer suffered cardiac arrest and a heart attack during a rehearsal for J2US, where he was performing as a pair with Traiana Anania.
