Rethymno: Dead 65-year-old German woman who was missing

Her disappearance was reported to the authorities by her husband - An autopsy is expected to shed light on the cause of her death

The 65-year-old German woman who had been missing since yesterday was found dead in the area between Prasonisi – Triopetra in Rethymno.

According to flashnews.gr, the 65-year-old woman was found unconscious by a private diver and her body was transported by lifeguard to the port of Agia Galini.

It is recalled that her disappearance was reported to the authorities by her husband who said that he last saw her at noon when he left the house where they lived and since then he lost her traces. He told the police authorities that he did not know where his wife was going and told them that there was a possibility that she also went swimming in the sea.
