Voula: 27-year-old man arrested for drug trafficking

He put up strong resistance during his arrest

A 27-year-old man accused of violating the law on addictive substances, weapons and violence against police officers was arrested yesterday afternoon in the area of Voula.

The arrest was made by men of the subdirectorate of the Drug Enforcement Department of the Attica Security Directorate.

In particular, according to the ELAS, after investigating information related to the accused’s drug trafficking activities in the wider area of the southern suburbs of Attica, police officers located the 27-year-old and certified his criminal activity.

As known by the police, the 27-year-old, in order to thwart his arrest, put up a strong resistance, while a search of his house and his possessions resulted in the following items being found and seized:

* 4 grams of cocaine,

* 128 grams of raw cannabis,

* 14 grams of processed cannabis,

* 27,150 euros,

* one motorcycle,

* 2 precision scales,

* a mobile phone,
