From his remarkable career in the long jump, with 14 gold medals at the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Athletics Championships, Miltos Tentoglou has also become known for his unique approach to major competitions.

This was evident again on Tuesday night when he entered the field for the final, where he made history by becoming only the second long jumper, after Carl Lewis, to win back-to-back Olympic gold medals.

Although his entrance was not as symbolic as the one at the Tokyo Games in 2021, when he entered the stadium in the Gear Second pose from One Piece, it still generated a lot of buzz on social media.

Comments included, “A Monday morning at the office” and “Yes, good evening, is this where they jump?” capturing the lighthearted and confident manner in which Tentoglou approached the long jump final at the Paris Olympics.
