The spectacular – if nothing else – opening ceremony for the Olympic Games in Paris drew widespread comment.

With the events taking place on the Seine, the ceremony was an admittedly colorful show, which at several moments strayed from the idea of Olympism.

This is exactly the feeling that Arcas attempts to capture, who in his Saturday special post, greets his followers with an image of the Eiffel Tower resting, at its base, on… a circus scene!
