Vicky Leandros: Concludes Her Career with a Concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus

Following six decades of international success

Athens has been chosen by the internationally renowned performer Vicky Leandros as the final stop of her farewell tour. On September 6, under the Acropolis at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus will bid her musical “goodbye” to the audience that has played a significant role in her international success.

The Greek artist Vicky Leandros, a phenomenon in the music world and the big winner of the 72nd Eurovision, has sold over 55 million records in more than 50 countries, singing in more than seven languages, and has filled the world’s most famous theaters with her sold-out concerts. She is concluding her illustrious career of six decades in her homeland.

Vicky Leandros has reached the pinnacle of her dreams, for this reason, she decided to embark on this global farewell tour that began in the spring of 2023. It will culminate in a few days at the Herodeion, at the foot of the Acropolis, under the starry Attic sky.

At her concert at Herodeion, she will perform live for the last time in an impressive production, featuring her greatest hits. These include songs given to her by great composers such as Michel Legrand, Jacques Brel, Mikis Theodorakis, Charles Aznavour, Mort Shuman, and Manos Hadjidakis, which have been beloved by international audiences.
