Newsroom July 8 10:04

This is the deadline for unemployed workers who wish to participate in the Public Employment Service’s new Green Skills Acquisition and Upgrading Program (DYPA) to apply.

The continuing vocational training program for a total of 50,000 unemployed people is implemented in the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with funding from the European Union-NextGenerationEU and aims to link training to the needs of the labour market and enhance the employability of the unemployed for their faster reintegration into employment in the context of the green transition of the economy.

Each trainee will follow a theoretical training program of a total duration of 80 hours. Upon completion of the training, the beneficiaries will participate in knowledge and skills certification exams by independent bodies and, those who pass, will receive the full training allowance, amounting to up to €400 (€5 per hour of training).
