China: 100 car pile-up on a major highway – Watch video

Three people were injured and taken to hospital, while six others suffered minor injuries

Newsroom February 23 10:41

Several people were injured when more than 100 cars collided with each other on a major highway in China’s Suzhou city. State media in China reported today that the accident was caused by extreme weather conditions, and there was reportedly ice on the asphalt where the car crash occurred.

Footage on social media shows many cars on top of each other on the highway, as if it were some kind of disaster movie. Glass and debris could be seen scattered everywhere.
