U.S. airplane passenger started shouting he has Ebola (Watch the video)

A tasteless joke

Newsroom October 10 01:38

US Airways Flight 845 was panic-struck when a passenger started shouting: “I have Ebola, you are all in trouble! I’ve been to Africa!”. This unbelievable occurrence took place while the plane was travelling from Philadelphia U.S.A. to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The perpetrator is a 54 year old man, whose identity hasn’t been made publicly known.

The plane which was carrying 290 passengers at the time was overcome with panic almost immediately. When the airplane landed in the Caribbean island, health staff equipped with Hazmat suits boarded the plane.

It was proven that the man was joking. The supposed patient was examined by a specialist team and was found to be healthy, while his Africa statement was proven to be part of his tasteless joke.

“The passenger in question will be taken back to the US and will undergo more tests”, said the Director of the Punta Cana International Airport.

The Dominican Republic Ministry of Health said that there had been suspicions that one of the passengers had Ebola but results were negative.

A US airways official apologized to the passengers but stressed that their security and safety is the company’s mail goal.
