4.1 earthquake hits Crete

It was mainly felt in the eastern region of the island

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded in eastern Crete and was felt mainly in Lassithi.

The tremor was recorded at 5.43 in the morning, according to the Geodynamic Institute. Its epicentre was 65 kilometres south, southeast of Zarkos, while its focal depth was estimated at 15 kilometers.
