PM Mitsotakis and six country leaders discuss coronavirus developments

They discussed each country's strategy for the gradual de-escalation of restrictions and a transition to a new normality

Newsroom April 24 01:51

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and six other leaders of countries throughout the world that have so far successfully managed the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic held a video conference on Friday regarding the developments in the management of Covid-19.

The meeting focused on the practices that helped curb the epidemic, as well as the countries’ experiences on this front. The seven leaders analyzed the restrictive measures imposed in good time to contain the spread of the virus, so as to give health systems time to deal with the additional pressures and save human lives.

They also discussed each country’s strategy for the gradual de-escalation of restrictions and a transition to a new normality.
