The Greek national basketball team defeated the Dominican Republic (87-75) in a friendly match in the Suzhou International Basketball Challenge and Culture Week 2019.

Apart from Greece, China, Dominican Republic, Jordan, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Turkey, and Venezuela will be playing a number of warm-up games as part of the 2019 Suzhou International Basketball Challenge prior to their quest to become World Champions in China, with the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 tipping off on August 31 in eight different cities across China.
