The United Nations has released new statistics about global population growth and by 2100, it’s estimated that the planet will have to sustain 11 billion people. Between now and 2050, India is expected to show the highest population increase of any nation, overtaking China as the world’s most populous country in around 2027. The countries expected to record the next biggest increase are Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, and Tanzania.
