Attack outside Iranian Embassy in Athens

An Embassy employee injured

A person was injured when an unknown man attacked him with a knife at the Iranian Embassy in Athens, a little after 2 pm on Wednesday. The assailant attempted to enter the premises of the Embassy at Psychiko but was prevented from the police officer on guard. The man initially walked away but was approached by two Embassy employees who deemed him suspicious. At that point, the man pulled a knife and stabbed one of the two Embassy staff and fled. The injured man was transferred to hospital, while police are in search of the culprit.
