Moscovici: Greater effort is needed (VIDEO)

Commissioner Pierre Moscovici is visiting Greece

Pierre Moscovici after his meeting with the Greek Minister of Finance Mr. Tsakalotos, underlined the role of Greece in the EU saying that we need a strong Greece at the heart of Eurozone. He also stated that Dijsselbloem is working towards the possiblility of an agreement in February 20th Eurogroup.
Mr. Moscovici said that he had a very constructive discussion with Mr. Tsakalotos. He recognized the progress Greece has done and he underscored the need for more reforms as there is still a lot of work that needs to done so that confidence can be restored again.

He stated that he saw that the will is there and where is will there is away.

Pierre Moscovici will meet the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the main opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Mr. Moskovisi will be decorated by the President Prokopis Pavlopoulos an honorary doctorate from the National University of Athens.
