Newsroom February 13 05:47

A global study conduced by Ipsos Mori reveals which the most ignorant countries in the world are. The supposedly most ignorant places in the world have been named based on a survey of people’s knowledge about their own country. The 2016 “Index of Ignorance” includes information from 27,250 interviews of people aged 16 to 64 carried out between September and November. The survey took in populations from 40 countries, with between 500 and 1,000 people surveyed in each. The survey took in populations from 40 countries, between 500 and 1,000 in each, and asked a variety of questions ranging from what they knew about their societies, like population, healthcare spending, home ownership, the proportion of Muslims living in their country etc. The economic status of a country appeared to bear less on the results than might have been expected.
