Newsroom October 8 03:46

On the evening of Thursday, October 2, 2025, His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia held the second meeting of the Catechumens of the Holy Metropolis of Sweden at the facilities of St. George Cathedral of Stockholm (Birger Jarlsgatan 92, 11420 Stockholm).

Metropolitan Cleopas once again was the speaker, delivering the catechism in English, since among the participants there are several Catechumens of the Orthodox faith who come from different countries.
The topic of the second lecture was: “The Foolishness of the Cross,” during which the Metropolitan presented a multitude of examples from the Saints of the Church referring to the Mystery of the Cross.
Questions followed the lecture, and clear answers were provided.

It is worth noting that the total number of participants, both in person and online, exceeded forty—double the number from last year.
