Tour du Péloponnèse: Just before the start October 5–12, 2025

Another exciting year is expected for the TdP with 77 vehicles at the starting line, with 37 vehicles built before 1971!

Newsroom September 30 06:26

Everything is ready for the grand start of the 12th Tour du Péloponnèse, on Sunday, October 5th, from Ancient Olympia!

Another exciting year is expected for the TdP with 77 vehicles at the starting line!

Almost all former winners are present, reminding us of the history of Greece’s largest classic car event, from 2014 to today.

The term “classic” is not used by chance…

In Categories D and E (vehicles up to 1961) we find 11 cars, characteristic examples of the postwar era and the technological boom that followed.

In Category E, the Greek 2020 winners Arvanitis–Charalambaki will compete, driving a 1956 Austin Healey 100/4. Here we also find the 2017 winner, British driver Jonathan Rolls, who this year will participate with a 1956 Jaguar XK140 FHC. Finally, in Category E, after some time away, Italian Michele di Mauro, the 2016 winner, returns with a 1960 Lancia Appia S3, along with this year’s strong title contenders Crucifix–Iatridis, in top form after their 2025 performances, competing with a 1960 Ford Anglia.

In Category F (vehicles up to 1965) there are 10 cars, representing the romantic era of the early 1960s.

Among them is Julian Bush (UK), the 2016 winner, participating once again with the now well-known 1964 MGB roadster.

In Category G (vehicles up to 1971) we find 15 cars, authentic representatives of the automotive industry of the “swinging sixties”…

This year, the multiple winners Georgosopoulos–Papanikolaou (2021–2023) have chosen to compete in this category with a rare 1967 BMW 1600 GT.

In total, there are 37 vehicles built before 1971!

An additional 29 vehicles in Categories H (up to 1976), I (up to 1981), and J (up to 1986) complete the starting list, offering a balanced variety from all schools and eras of motoring.

In Category H, the Austrian team Hekerle–Schneider, multiple TdP winners (2022 and 2024), will also compete with a 1973 BMW 2002 Touring.

Finally, outside the general classification, there are 8 carefully selected young timer vehicles (equal to 10% of the total), which, according to regulations, include vehicles built from 1986 to 1999, forming part of the microcosm of the 12th Tour du Péloponnèse – Historique 04-12 October 2025.

Additionally, 3 cars will compete in the short S Category, which runs only on the final day.

Take a look at the detailed participant list with vehicle photos in the following table and dream with us as they travel along the mythical routes of the Peloponnese, past ancient temples, Byzantine churches, and medieval castles, competing like fully metallic modern warriors…
