Three heavenly island destinations that are closer than you think

Travel with SEAJETS from Mantoudi with speed and comfort and experience an unforgettable summer in Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos

Newsroom July 21 01:36

You dream of holidays on pine-clad beaches with crystal clear waters, island alleys full of local colour and vibrancy, boat rides, fresh fish and nightlife. You think about how beautiful it would be to dive into one of Skiathos’ instagrammable beaches, to enjoy the view from the castle of Alonnisos, to taste the famous twisted cheese pie of Skopelos. You wish you could easily and quickly find yourself in Sporades with its rare beauties. Your wish becomes reality as this year Sporades are closer than ever before, thanks to SEAJETS and Speedrunner Jet 2 with 2 daily departures from Madoudi Evia.
This means that from Athens you can get to Mantoudi in about 2 hours by car (there is also a bus connection). From there, thanks to SEAJETS, you can reach Skiathos in 40 minutes, Skopelos in 1 hour and 5 minutes to Glossa and 1 hour and 30 minutes to Agnontas, and Agnontas in 2 hours & 5 minutes.

And not only that. You can go island hopping and enjoy the beauties of all three islands since in just 15 minutes, you can go from Skiathos to Skopelos and from Skopelos to Alonissos.
SEAJETS, with the largest fleet of speedboats in the world, takes you to more than 50 destinations in the Aegean Sea, with speed, comfort and top service. You just choose the destination. This time the destination is the Sporades.
You just choose your choice; you only have to choose the destination – Sporades.

Skiathos, the cosmopolitan
It is the ideal destination for a cosmopolitan holiday. It combines incredible natural landscapes, exotic beaches, picturesque alleys, nightlife and good food. Chora’s whitewashed tiled houses and cobbled streets will provide you with delightful walks and, as time goes by, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for fun.
You’ll go to Bourtzi, a pine-clad islet that hosts the ruins of the Venetian fortress and divides the port of Skiathos in two, visit the house of Alexandros Papadiamantis, see the famous Lalaria beach that is only accessible by sea, and dive in beautiful clear waters.

Skopelos, the green

Skopelos will enchant you with its impressive vegetation, beaches with emerald waters, and beautiful villages. It is no coincidence that the island was chosen for the filming of “Mamma Mia!”.
You will be enchanted by the amphitheatrically built Chora with its traditional houses and winding alleys. You will climb to the top to see the view from the Castle and if you have some time, you will visit the Folklore Museum that will take you back in time. But you will also go to the second largest settlement of the island, Glossa, and while drinking your coffee, you will discover why they call it the “balcony of the Aegean”.

Alonissos, the authentic
Alonissos is a paradise in miniature, with beautiful beaches and vegetation that reaches the sea, a refuge for rare birds and especially the Mediterranean monk seal Monachus monachus.
You’ll go to the Old Village to gaze at the sea from above and relax, wander the cobbled streets, see the stone-built houses, the flower-filled courtyards and the stone-covered churches. On the island, you’ll also find Greece’s first underwater museum and if you visit, you’ll enjoy an underwater feast of the shipwreck of Peristera. And of course you’ll taste Alonnisosian cheese pie, kakavia, roasted figs with honey, and almonds.

All this in just a few hours from Madoudi, with SEAJETS!
