Chatzivasileiou: Greece as a stability pillar in southeastern Europe, a reliable partner for Moldova

Deputy Foreign Minister conducts working visit to Chișinău

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tasos Chatzivasileiou, conducted a working visit to Chișinău to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Greece and Moldova. Discussions focused on trade and economic relations, energy infrastructure, and business synergies.

Chatzivasileiou first met with Moldova’s Minister of Energy, Dorin Junghietu, Deputy Ministers of Energy, Carolina Novac and Cristina Pereteatcu, as well as Deputy Minister Constantin Borosan. He then held an extended working meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergiu Mihov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Cristina Ceban, and Director of the “Invest Moldova” Agency, Natalia Bejan. The National Security Advisor to Moldova’s President, Stanislav Secrieru, also participated in the discussions.

At the end of his visit, Chatzivasileiou stated:
“During my working visit to Moldova, I conveyed the greetings of Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis and reaffirmed Greece’s steadfast support for the country’s European path.
