Conference League: Panathinaikos faces Vikingur in freezing Helsinki

The "Greens" face the Icelandic Vikingur in Finland, aiming to take a crucial first step toward qualifying for the Round of 16 in the Conference League

Newsroom February 13 12:27

Panathinaikos‘ European journey continues in Helsinki, where the “Greens” face Icelandic side Vikingur tonight (19:45, CosmoteSport 4, ANT1) in the Conference League knockout stage. The team traveled to Finland aiming to lay a solid foundation for qualification to the Round of 16—or even secure a significant advantage in this first leg.

The match will take place on Finnish soil because neither Vikingur’s stadium nor any other venue in Iceland met the requirements to host a game at this stage of the competition.
