“Open” schools in the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi for students from Santorini – Where they can attend classes

"We are close to our fellow citizens from Santorini," says the Mayor of Agia Paraskevi, Giannis Mylonakis

Newsroom February 12 04:08

The municipality is taking the initiative to support children from Santorini, who left the island due to intense seismic activity and are temporarily staying in Agia Paraskevi, in cooperation with the school principals of the city.

Specifically, children from families who have temporarily moved to the area will have the opportunity to attend their classes at schools in the city for as long as necessary.

He continued, “With this initiative, we want to support our fellow Santorini citizens, who, in this difficult situation, left their homes and are temporarily staying in our city. In cooperation with the principals of the city’s schools, whom I thank sincerely for their cooperation, we offer the children of these families the opportunity to continue their education without obstacles and to stay connected to the school environment. We will remain by their side. With solidarity, as we must.”
