Weather: Cold, northern winds, and frost today – Where it will snow

EMY’s forecast for the weekend

Newsroom February 6 08:38

The weather will remain wintery over the next few days, with temperatures having taken a nosedive of at least 6 degrees since yesterday. According to meteorologists, we might even see snowfall in the mountainous areas of Attica.

As noted in a post by EMY’s director, Thodoris Kolydas, temperatures will stay below seasonal averages until at least mid-month, with rain mainly affecting eastern and southern regions.

“The Eastern European anticyclone is preventing the movement of low-pressure systems from the Central Mediterranean towards our region,” the meteorologist pointed out.
