“Congratulations to Marco Rubio on his confirmation as the new U.S. Secretary of State,” the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a post on Twitter.

“Greece remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthening our strategic relations and the deep bonds that unite our nations,” the statement continued.
