Continuous Market Monitoring
Consumer preferences for gifts remain consistently the same, with clothing and footwear leading the list, followed by gifts, toys, and cosmetics. Retailers are optimistic that their turnover will exceed last year’s levels, aiming for revenues over €4 billion.

Market inspections are ongoing across all sectors to prevent unfair profiteering, misleading discounts, and more. The Ministry of Development, in addition to strengthening the efforts of inspection mechanisms, encourages consumers to conduct thorough market research and take advantage of the digital price monitoring platform e-Consumer.

Consumer organizations also recommend careful market research before making choices. When it comes to online purchases, they advise buyers to be extra cautious about sharing their personal data.
