The victims were identified as the driver of the vehicle and three passengers traveling from the nearby city of Giresun to Batumi, Georgia, when the disaster struck – Watch video

Newsroom December 9 06:00

Four bodies were recovered from a car buried under a landslide in the Arhavi area near the city of Artvin in northeastern Turkey on the morning of December 9.

According to Hurriyet Daily News, the landslide occurred the previous day, causing large amounts of soil and rocks to detach from a hillside, blocking the highway in both directions.
