Ukrainian media: Kiev attacked Bryansk with ATACMS ballistic missiles before Putin’s nuclear decree

The town of Karachev, according to Ukrainian media, is located 130 km from the Ukrainian-Russian border

Newsroom November 19 12:59

In the Bryansk region of Russia, near the town of Karachev, the first use of the American ballistic missiles ATACMS appears to have taken place, according to Ukrainian media reports cited by Bloomberg, following the green light given just a few days ago by Joe Biden.

The attack, according to RBC Ukraine, targeted a Russian military logistics center, and “the strike was entirely successful.”

? ATACMS strike in Russia?
Ukraine struck the artillery & missile arsenal in Karachev, Bryansk region.
Russians say it was a missile, not drones.
This specific site was hit last month as well.

It is also noted that the strike took place hours before Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing the use of nuclear weapons in the event that Ukraine uses ballistic missiles.

The town of Karachev, according to Ukrainian media, is located 130 km from the Ukrainian-Russian border.

The 67th GRAU Arsenal in Karachev, Bryansk region, was struck. Large secondary explosions can be seen and heard.

According to the head of Ukraine’s Center for Counterintelligence, the warehouses targeted contained artillery shells, including mortars from North Korea.

These facilities had been targeted by a Ukrainian strike in October as well, but at that time drones were used, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting that such attacks create supply problems for the enemy and reduce its offensive capabilities.

It is recalled that Putin’s decree states that any offensive action by a non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear-armed country will be considered a joint attack on the Russian Federation and will allow for a nuclear “response” from Moscow.
