Klearchos Marousakis stated that this extended anticyclone, which covers much of Europe, persists, resulting in mild weather conditions, but also north winds in the Aegean Sea near 6 Beaufort. At least until the beginning of next week, no rain is expected, with the drought continuing, he added.

However, after November 7 to 10, the atmospheric circulation changes, where the anticyclone will break and move towards the northern – northwestern parts of Europe to open the way for bad weather from central and northern Europe, Marousakis notes.

The weather in the coming days in our country will flow with similar characteristics, mild autumnal, with chilly early morning and evening in the continental areas, at noon with a temperature of 22 to 25 degrees. North winds in the Aegean today will reach 6 to 7 Beaufort locally, up to 6 Beaufort on Sunday, to weaken a little more on Monday.

From next Wednesday, however, the winds will increase again to 7 Beaufort, according to meteorologist Panagiotis Giannopoulos. Rains are not predicted for the next at least 7 days. The sky will have mainly in the Ionian and continental areas some thin, high clouds, a white veil allowing for sunshine.

Expecting generally clear weather with localised clouds. Overnight and early morning visibility in the central and northern mainland will be locally limited.

The temperature will range from 2 to 19 degrees Celsius in Western Macedonia, from 0 to 23 degrees Celsius in the rest of Northern Greece, from 2 to 21 degrees Celsius in Thessaly, from 5 to 25-26 degrees Celsius in Epirus, from 2 to 25-26 degrees Celsius in the rest of the mainland, from 11 to 23 degrees Celsius in the Ionian Islands and from 11 to 25 degrees Celsius in the Aegean islands of Crete.

In the Aegean Sea, north-northeast winds will blow with intensities up to 5-6 and locally 7 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea, winds will blow from generally easterly directions with intensities up to 3-4 and locally 5 Beaufort.

Winds in the west will be variable 2 to 4 Beaufort. In the east it will blow from the north 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the Aegean Sea partly in the morning hours locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change significantly. It will reach in the northern mainland and the Cyclades 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, in the rest of the country 23 to 25 and locally in the southern mainland and the Dodecanese 26 degrees Celsius.
