Hezbollah launched over 150 rockets against military installations in northern Israel

Shortly after 14:30′ (Greek time), Hezbollah announced that it launched rockets towards northern Israel, targeting military installations in the country.

The Shiite organization, supported by Iran, claimed responsibility for the attack, with more than 150 rockets fired at specific target locations.

This attack comes in response to the intensive nighttime bombings carried out by Israel in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah rocket launchers. Tensions are escalating along the border between the two countries, with mutual attacks increasing daily, while the international community is concerned about the risk of the conflict expanding.

Israeli authorities earlier reported a minor injury following the rocket launches in the northern part of the country. According to a statement from the Israeli police on Telegram, several explosions occurred in various locations. Firefighters have rushed to the sites of the explosions to control the fires ignited by the rockets.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared footage from “northern Israel at this moment following intensive rocket fire from Hezbollah in Lebanon towards Israel.” “Don’t make the mistake: Those who harm the people of Israel will pay the price,” it stated.
