Collecting unemployment benefits while owning a lamborghini!

Authorities discovered an unemployed man in possession of items worth over half a million euros, including a Lamborghini Huracan

Newsroom August 29 09:30

A rare incident recently occurred in Australia, where a man who has been receiving unemployment benefits since 2019 was found with an inexplicably large amount of expensive assets.

Among the items found in his possession were a blue Lamborghini Huracan, in the Blue Cepheus shade, a Harley Davidson V-Rod in the same color, and two Rolex watches. All these items were confiscated.

The investigation into this individual began in May, and only recently were these items discovered, with a total value reaching approximately 450,000 euros.

The police arrested the 39-year-old man on charges of “dishonest possession,” specifically referring to the Huracan, the V-Rod, and the watches.

Currently, authorities believe that the unexplained wealth is linked to organized crime, in which the man is deeply involved. The 39-year-old has already been notified to appear in the Parramatta local court on October 4th.

At the same time, police continue their investigations, as it remains unknown how he has been receiving unemployment benefits for over five years.
