On September 6, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will be in Chios to speak at a conference on climate change.

The conference is part of the 3rd Chios Festival, organized by the North Aegean Region.

The event will also be attended by notable figures such as former President of the Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos, academician Christos Zerefos, the president of the Academy of Athens professor Stamatis Krimizis, and the ambassador of Azerbaijan, Arif Mammadov. Azerbaijan will host the next Climate Change conference under the auspices of the UN. Other public figures and members of the scientific community will also be present.
