Unconscious, a 77-year-old man was recovered from Pontosivado beach in Kavala on the morning of Tuesday, July 9.

According to voria.gr, the unfortunate man was transported by ambulance vehicle of EKAB to the Health Center of Nestos and then to the General Hospital of Kavala, where his death was determined.

The Port Authority, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, ordered the performance of a necropsy at the Thrace Forensic Service.
