Weather: The northerly winds are subsiding today, the temperature is rising even further

Today, sunshine is expected with scattered clouds in places in the western and southern parts of the country. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will increase from midday.

The temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 7 to 23 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 10 to 26, in Thessaly from 11 to 27, in Epirus from 11 to 25, in Central Greece and the Peloponnese from 10 to 26, in the Ionian Islands from 9 to 24, in the islands of the Northern and Eastern Aegean from 10 to 27, in the Cyclades from 14 to 22, in the Dodecanese from 16 to 23, and in Crete from 9 to 23 degrees Celsius.

Winds in the Aegean will blow from northerly directions at 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the Ionian, winds will blow from northwesterly directions at 2 to 4 Beaufort and in the north at 3 to 5 Beaufort.

Forecast for tomorrow, Friday, April 12, 2024:
Generally sunny weather with temporary clouds around noon and in the afternoon in the northern regions. Winds will blow from the north, reaching speeds of 4 to 6 in the west, 5 to 7 in the east, and locally up to 8 on the Aegean islands. Temperatures will remain high for the season, reaching 26 to 28 degrees Celsius in the Ionian islands and their mainland, locally up to 29 degrees, and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius in other island regions.

Generally sunny weather with temporary clouds, mainly around noon in the northeast. Winds will blow from the north at 3 to 5 knots and up to 6 to 7 on the Aegean. Temperatures will rise further, reaching levels higher than normal for the season by about 8 to 9 degrees.

Forecast for Monday, April 15, 2024:
Initially, generally sunny weather throughout the country. From noon onwards, scattered clouds will appear in the west, gradually thickening. In the evening, scattered clouds will spread to the rest of the country. Winds will be variable at 2 to 4 knots, and in the central and southern Aegean, they will blow from the north at 5 to 6 knots. Temperatures will remain very high for the season.
