His message for the anniversary of the Tempi tragedy was conveyed through a statement by the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who noted that “time froze at that moment when the country collided head on with its worst version of itself. The Prime Minister further emphasized, “On such a day, grief cannot be painted with party colors.”

He referred to the work of the Investigative Committee, clarifying that “only Justice is the one that will shed light on the case, as we all desire.”
