Watch “beast” US transport plane C-5 Galaxy pass over bridge in Athens (video)

It is the C-5 Galaxy used by NATO

Newsroom July 10 01:01

A video posted on TikTok showing a giant plane passing over Attiki Odos, on a bridge, heading for the airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, prompted hundreds of comments.

According to airport sources, the aircraft is an American C-5 Galaxy transport plane with arrivals of this type of plane being, according to the same sources, frequent at “El. Venizelos”.

According to the same sources, these aircraft land at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport either for refueling, for technical reasons, or as part of NATO exercises.

In any case, the same sources from Athens International Airport stressed, the bridge on which the American transport aircraft moved is built to all the necessary specifications so that it can be used even by the heavier Russian Antonov planes.
