This is what patients see before they die, says nurse

Lucid patients see dead relatives and Jesus before they pass away

Newsroom December 22 01:56

Working in the healthcare sector is undeniably a job that can cause great emotions and heart-wrenching moments. The American nurse from Los Angeles, Julie McFadden, in a video she uploads to her TikTok account, describes how the people she cares for spend the last days of their life.

As he said, caring for people in their final moments can be difficult, but it also has some phases that can surprise the person experiencing them.

McFadden said she has noticed something that usually happens a month before patients die.

“People a month before they die start talking to dead relatives, dead loved ones, dead pets. They see people, talk to people, angels, depending on their religion, Jesus.”

She explained in one now-viral clip that the comforting concept is called “visioning” — which happens just before dying when people are often fully lucid.

They see deceased friends, family, and even pets before they pass on to the other side.

Julie added that this happens so often that she “doesn’t even find it strange”.

Another thing he notes is that toward the end even if people look very, very sick and weak “they’ll suddenly get a burst of energy, have really good days, and then suddenly die.”

The nurse also said another “crazy” thing she’s seen is people telling you when they’re going to die.

The nurse explained that quite often, patients say, “Tonight is the night I’m going to die. Nurses often laugh at them, as these patients don’t seem to be in their final stage. But then they die. Basically, they just choose when to die. This doesn’t happen often, but I’ve definitely seen it five or six times.”

Julie also recalled an experience she saw as a miracle. She was by the side of a dying man and finally the next morning he was “walking, talking and eating”. “He lived for another three months and I felt like I was witnessing a miracle to see that happen,” she said.

She also said that another sign that someone is about to die, is the “death stare”. The term, which she coined, refers to when a “person is looking past you, or looking in the corner of the room or at the ceiling.” “Sometimes they talk and say they see something, but other times they just stare,” he explained.
